Hi everyone,
I hope the sun is shining for you all like it is here today! It's fabulous; really lifts the spirits and almost feels like summer!
Just linking in to Hannah Young's mini book with shaker elements feature in the upcoming issue 62 of Scrapbook Magazine. As promised for those of you who missed the 12x12" shaker layout that Louise Collins did for us back in issue 58, here is a piccie with some close-ups as well as the steps for creating it.
1 Attach 3D foam tape around all four edges of a white backing card, ensuring you leave no gaps.
2 Sprinkle a mix of microbeads and seed beads on the white card and lay the acetate over the top to seal them in.
3 Using a sheet of Pebbles paper, cut out a frame to hide the foam tape and stick it down over the top of the acetate. Add Stickles dots around the edge.
4 Punch some different sized circles from other Pebbles papers, ink the edges and stick towards the bottom-left corner where your title will be and the top-right where the photo will be. Overlap a few of them.
5 Cut out the image from your photo and position it so that it appears to be coming out from behind the frame.
6 Add your title and then embellish the page with buttons, butterflies and small accent words.
